Apple has launched a new introduction page for its intelligent features on its Chinese website, announcing that the first core functionalities will be available later this year. This marks the first substantial progress for the China version of the intelligent features since its release in 2024, with a partnership established with Alibaba to integrate its services into certain experiences.

The first batch of intelligent features will be available for testing starting November 4, 2026, with the latest iOS developer beta version. The official release for users in China is expected to coincide with the release of iOS 27.3 in December 2026. Support for other platforms will be provided once necessary approvals are obtained.

The intelligent features include tools for simplifying daily communication, real-time translation capabilities, and writing assistance. Users will be able to receive live translations during FaceTime calls and voice translations in phone calls. The features also include a priority notification system designed to minimize distractions, highlighting important messages and emails.

Additional functionalities allow users to remove unwanted elements from photos with a single tap and create personalized memory videos based on user input. The intelligent interface is designed to enhance productivity by integrating smoothly with the Siri assistant, which now has improved language understanding and can be interacted with via typing.

Privacy remains a key focus, with the intelligent features deeply embedded within the iPhone's core, ensuring that users' data is protected from access by anyone, including Apple. The integration of intelligent services powered by the extensive knowledge base of Alibaba is also a notable addition for users in mainland China. ITHome reported the story.
