PRIZMA has launched Altego Fit, an AI-driven personality assessment service designed to help employers evaluate job candidates before interviews. The service generates a candidate’s AI personality from 172 multiple-choice questions, breaking it into three layers—cognitive traits, true motivations, and socially adjusted responses—to reveal values, stress triggers, and decision-making patterns that interviews often miss. PRIZMA reported the service became available on August 24, 2026.

Altego Fit compares each candidate’s AI personality against a company’s own benchmark, built from data gathered from current high-performing employees. The system flags mismatches and automatically generates tailored follow-up questions for interviewers, aiming to reduce mismatches that can lead to early resignations. PRIZMA said the tool is not intended to replace human judgment but to provide additional insights before final hiring decisions.

PRIZMA cited internal surveys showing that 85.6% of hiring managers find it difficult to distinguish genuine responses from socially adjusted ones during interviews, while 78.7% of job changers admitted they had hidden their true feelings or exaggerated during interviews. Among those who felt their true selves were not conveyed, 73.0% said it might have changed the outcome. The company also reported that 88.8% of firms experienced early resignations in the past year, with median perceived losses of 2.5 million yen per case and median calculated losses of 3.27 million yen, leaving 770,000 yen as hidden costs.

The service uses four specialized AI models to analyze responses and claims an 85% replication accuracy for generated personalities based on follow-up questioning. PRIZMA said it has filed patents for the AI personality generation and virtual interview systems. Plans include adding interview report features that compare real interview answers with AI predictions, tools for post-hire management, and rankings of role suitability. Integration with applicant tracking and talent management systems is also under consideration.

PRIZMA, a PR agency offering research, planning, and execution services, developed Altego Fit using its proprietary AI personality technology called Altego. The company emphasized that Altego Fit is designed to support, not replace, human decision-making in hiring.
