Joe AI raises 2 million euros to automate client relations in real estate
Joe AI announced a 2 million euro funding round on October 1 2026. The round was led by Xplore, the innovation capital arm of Épopée Gestion. Additional investors include Plug and Play Ventures, Marc Menasé, and Benjamin Chemla. The capital consists of 90 percent equity and 10 percent public funding from Bpifrance. The company serves over 500 clients across France and processes hundreds of thousands of communications monthly. Its agents handle phone calls, emails, SMS, WhatsApp, and live chat for prospects, owners, tenants, and co‑owners.
Unlike a simple chatbot, the agents take concrete actions based on an infinite number of scenarios. The founders aim to resolve up to 95 percent of incoming requests across all channels, allowing human teams to focus on tasks such as general meetings and negotiations. Real estate is described as a fertile ground for applied artificial intelligence because of the high volume of repetitive inquiries, from rent receipts to water damage reports. The founders cite the success of US‑based licorne EliseAI, valued at 4 billion dollars, as proof of market potential.
They argue that Europe lacks a leader of comparable scale and see an opportunity to capture that space. The funds will be used to iterate on the product, expand into commercial real estate, and broaden distribution in France and abroad. Expansion will start in Spain, Portugal, and Italy, leveraging existing partner software editors and client networks. The team currently has ten employees and plans to hire several account executives, a product manager, and two developers with the new capital.
