EliseAI Raises 350 Million USD from a16z and Bessemer
EliseAI announced on September 29 a funding round of 350 million USD that values the company at 4 billion USD. The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz and Bessemer Venture Partners. Additional investors included the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, Sapphire Ventures and Navitas Capital. This is the second time the company has raised capital with a16z involvement, having previously secured 250 million USD in a Series E round in August 2025 where Bessemer also participated. The company provides AI tools that help property management firms handle inquiries, lease showings, tenant communications, maintenance requests and lease renewals across phone, email, SMS and chat. Its platform consolidates multiple communication channels into a single CRM system and automates tasks so that property teams can focus on higher‑value work.
The CRM includes an AI agent named Apollo that can send SMS messages to prospects, update knowledge bases, reassign tasks, modify settings and create custom dashboards within the limits of user permissions. The company says it has validated the stability of these operations through 7,000 test cases. EliseAI also extends its services to healthcare providers, handling non‑clinical communications such as patient calls, messages, appointment scheduling and billing notifications. According to the company, its technology covers 6.5 million residential units in the United States, representing roughly one in five multifamily homes. More than 30 million renters have interacted with its AI. Annual recurring revenue exceeded 200 million USD in June 2026 and has doubled each year for five consecutive years. Customer retention metrics show a two‑point increase in occupancy rates and a seven‑point rise in lease renewals, with some clients reporting up to a 20 percent boost in net operating income.
CEO Minna Song said the most impactful industries are often overlooked and that housing presents large problems that the company addresses by deepening customer relationships and solving root causes. The new capital will accelerate automation of customer workflows and expand engineering, implementation and sales teams across North America. Existing offices in New York and San Francisco will be complemented by new engineering hubs in Boston, Chicago, Austin and Toronto. Bessemer partner Sameer Dholakia praised the firm for combining advanced AI research with deep knowledge of property operations. The funding round was also covered by GlobeNewswire and EliseAI.
