SpaceX has officially announced a financing arrangement with alternative asset management giant Apollo, totaling approximately 40 billion USD. This significant agreement involves a binding commitment between the two parties to sign a primary financing leasing agreement for GPU and related equipment, expected to be finalized within 2026.

This unprecedented GPU financing agreement aims to support SpaceX's ground computing infrastructure with next-generation NVIDIA Vera Rubin chips. The leasing plan is projected to commence following the delivery of GPUs and related equipment in the first half of 2027.

SpaceX is focused on deploying the largest computing infrastructure globally. As the demand for computing power continues to accelerate, the return on investment for system integration infrastructure has reportedly shortened to less than one year.

The leasing agreement will not only diversify the funding sources but will also address a substantial portion of the capital needed to execute growth plans. SpaceX is committed to rapidly deploying more computing capacity to support both business and consumer services via Grok, while also catering to current and future cloud service clients.
