Samsung HW-Q800H soundbar drops to €499 in new price cut

Samsung has lowered the price of its HW-Q800H soundbar to €499, a reduction of about 16 percent compared with the average lowest price recorded over the past month. The new price point is available from multiple retailers and follows Samsung’s annual refresh cycle for the model line.

The HW-Q800H retains the 5.1.2 channel layout and wireless subwoofer design that have defined the series. Samsung highlights minor software updates aimed at refining sound tuning, though the core audio performance remains largely unchanged from the previous generation. The company markets the unit as a compact, all-in-one solution for living rooms where space and simplicity are priorities.

Reviewers note strong front-stage surround effects and a punchy, compact subwoofer that delivers deep bass without bulk. At the same time, they flag limitations such as the lack of Dolby Atmos refinement, no support for 4K/120 Hz, VRR or ALLM over HDMI, and the absence of DTS audio formats. These omissions narrow compatibility with some gaming and high-end AV setups.

The price cut is calculated by comparing today’s lowest observed price with the average of the lowest prices recorded across merchants in the past month, after excluding retailers with unclear VAT policies. The promotion is being tracked by Les Numériques, which reported the price change.
