Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra may face sales ban due to patent lawsuit in the U.S.

Recently, a lawsuit was filed regarding the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphone model, following previous actions against Samsung, Apple, and Google devices for patent infringement. The lawsuit focuses on connection technology patents. The U.S. technology startup Ioengine claims that its patents have been used without permission in the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Buds2 Pro, and Samsung Portable SSD T7 models.

The lawsuit seeks a ban on sales of the Galaxy S23 Ultra and Samsung Portable SSD T7 in the U.S. for one patent, along with compensation for other patents. The court's assessment and lawsuit details are not yet clear. If the startup wins, it could prevent the future use of these technologies as well.
