Flyle Secures 1.88 Billion Yen in Series A Funding to Accelerate AI Contact Center Operator Rollout
Flyle announced on October 7 that it raised 1.88 billion yen in its Series A round, bringing total funding since inception to approximately 2.27 billion yen. The round included both existing and new investors, with notable participants such as ALPHA, ALL STAR SAAS FUND, Firstlight Capital, Aflac Ventures Japan, Japan Post Capital, Salesforce Ventures, Mitsubishi UFJ Capital, Mizuho Capital, and SMBC Venture Capital. Funds will be allocated to product development and strengthening customer support infrastructure, accelerating the rollout of AI operators that can handle phone, chat, and email inquiries, manage order placements, and execute procedural tasks autonomously.
The company emphasizes that while many contact centers rely on AI only for limited tasks like FAQ creation or basic chatbot responses, complex issue resolution and integration with internal systems remain limited, and customer feedback often stays siloed. To address this, Flyle will launch its AI operator service in November, offering 24/7 support that can interpret customer intent, coordinate with backend systems, and complete transactions or modifications without human intervention, escalating only when necessary. In addition, the firm introduces AI Agent Quality Evaluation, which assesses all operator interactions against a unified standard, and AI VOC Analysis, which examines conversations for quality, product issues, process inefficiencies, and harassment detection to guide internal improvements.
The CX Survey AI Interview leverages consumer panels to probe non‑respondents, churned customers, and competitors’ users with targeted questions. All data will be visualized and analyzed through an AI Data Platform, with early adoption reported in television shopping, manufacturing, finance, and transportation sectors. The Bridge reported the announcement, highlighting the strategic focus on scaling AI driven transformation in contact center operations.
