D-Robotics Secures 400 Million Dollar Series C Round

D-Robotics has completed a Series C funding round of 400 million US dollars, as reported by TMTPost. The company stated that this capital will be directed toward strengthening its full-compute-range chip product lineup and building a comprehensive software platform that integrates data collection, model training, simulation verification, and inference deployment. This strategic focus aims to provide an integrated hardware and software infrastructure for embodied intelligence, covering development needs from mature product categories to general-purpose humanoid robots.

The investment round was led by Future Asset, a prominent international investment institution, with strategic participation from Meituan. Government investment platforms including Hefei State Investment, Nanshan Strategic Emerging Investment, and Jingquan Capital joined the round. A consortium of first-tier investment institutions also participated, comprising Kaihui Fund, Huamei International Investment Group, GF Xinde, Beyond Moore, and the Xinchuang Phase II Fund under Qihang Investment. Existing shareholders, including Hillhouse Venture, 5Y Capital, Linear Capital, Huangpu River Capital, Vertex Growth under Temasek, Prosperity7, Hexuan Capital, Yunfeng Fund, Meituan Longzhu, Joyoung Family Office, Dunhong Asset, KaiLian Capital, Boiling Point Capital, Jiuhe Ventures, Chuxin Capital, Digital Future, and Gengxin Capital, continued to increase their stakes in the company.

The company's financial trajectory shows accelerating momentum. In May 2025, D-Robotics completed a 100 million US dollar Series A round, attracting investors such as Hillhouse Venture and 5Y Capital. On March 16, 2026, the company announced the completion of a 120 million US dollar B1 round, with industrial capital from Didi and Meituan Longzhu joining. Subsequently, on April 8, 2026, a 150 million US dollar B2 round was completed, bringing the total Series B funding to 270 million US dollars. Including the Series A, the company's total public funding has exceeded 370 million US dollars. The interval between funding rounds has compressed from ten months to just over twenty days, with each round's amount increasing progressively.

Operational metrics indicate a transition to mass production. In the first half of 2026, cumulative shipments of the Xuri series chips surpassed 8 million units. The company reported that its embodied intelligence business has formally entered the mass-production shipping stage. The Xuri S600, released in November 2025, secured more than 20 leading customers within six months, including Tashi Zhihang, Qianxun Intelligence, Zibianliang Robotics, Zhi Zai Wu Jie, UBTECH, and Paxini Perception. These clients operate in fields such as humanoid robots, industrial wheeled platforms, 3C flexible operations, embodied large models, and full-modal perception. D-Robotics claims its customer coverage in the embodied intelligence sector has now exceeded 50 percent.

The company's product matrix addresses diverse computational needs across the robotics spectrum. The RDK X3 provides 5 TOPS, the X5 offers 10 TOPS, the S100 series reaches 80 or 128 TOPS, and the S600 delivers 560 TOPS. This range covers embedded robots, dual-arm systems, quadrupeds, and humanoid robots. The company emphasizes that robot computational requirements are not uniform; mature consumer robots prioritize cost and power efficiency, while advanced robots require high-end edge AI capabilities for complex decision-making. D-Robotics positions its infrastructure to bridge this gap, offering a gradient of computing power rather than a single high-performance solution.

The company has also developed an ecosystem supporting over 500 small and medium-sized makers, more than 500 academic institutions, and over 100,000 developers from more than 20 countries. These developers have created hundreds of intelligent robot product forms on the D-Robotics platform. Specific project milestones include the Tashi Zhihang A3, which will use the Xuri S600 for industrial deployment, and the Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center's Tiangong 3.0, which has completed computational adaptation and plans mass production delivery in the second half of 2026. The Linglong 2.0 from Humanoid Robot (Shanghai) Company is scheduled to complete multi-scenario application verification in the third quarter of 2026.
