UnReact Launches Self‑Issued Receipt App for Shopify Stores
UnReact, an IT venture based in Fukuoka, announced the release of a new application that allows buyers on Shopify stores to generate receipts and invoices directly from their order status page. The app, titled “Simple Receipt Self‑Issue | PDF, Invoice, Invoice System Support,” was officially launched on 27 September 2026 at 10:00.
The application enables customers to view, print, or save receipts and invoices in PDF format without any intervention from the store owner. It supports the display of qualified invoice issuer registration numbers and tax‑rate breakdowns required by Japan’s invoice system, allowing compliant documents to be issued automatically.
UnReact’s solution can be added to a Shopify store’s order status page with no coding required. Store owners only need to enter their shop information and the qualified invoice issuer registration number once, after which the app appears as a button on the order status page. The app’s settings are divided into seven tabs and 37 items, covering document types, order conditions, recipient and remarks input, and visual customization such as color and layout.
Customers can input their own recipient name and remarks on the issuance screen, eliminating the need for post‑purchase adjustments. The app does not store any personal data on its servers; all input is processed locally in the browser.
The app offers a Basic Plan priced at $3.99 per month, with a seven‑day free trial and a discount equivalent to two months free for annual billing. The application is available in the Shopify App Store and includes a user guide on UnReact’s website.
UnReact’s founder, Shinobu Nishikawa, highlighted that the app removes the need for store owners to respond to “please send me a receipt” inquiries, thereby streamlining operations.
The release was reported by ASCII, a Japanese media outlet covering technology and business news.
