Danish gaming company Trophy Games has acquired mobile game developer Playrion from Paradox Interactive for €2,250,000. The deal includes an upfront payment and further contingent payments based on revenue performance over the next three years. Upon completion, all 30 employees at Playrion, based in Paris, will join Trophy Games. Trophy Games plans to build a new simulation series leveraging Playrion's flagship title, 'Airport Simulator: First Class.' The company aims to replicate its successful business model, which increased revenue fourfold over five years after acquiring 'Airline Manager 4.' Trophy Games is currently developing six new titles.
