XYZ, an AI robotics company, is expanding its retail solutions by integrating its robot barista, Barisbrew, with membership benefits from a popular fashion retailer. The integration allows customers to use membership coupons issued through the retailer's app directly in the robot's ordering system, enhancing the customer experience in physical stores.

The Barisbrew robot operates at the café Aznisum located on the third floor of the retailer's beauty outlet. This initiative not only includes the recognition of coupons but also involves the development of exclusive drinks in collaboration with the café brand. Customers can expect to see drinks created by Barisbrew based on new recipes specifically designed for the café.

To promote usage, the café currently offers a coupon for an Americano to customers who write reviews, which can also be redeemed through the robot's ordering system. Starting in October, additional drink coupons will be provided to customers who spend over 10,000 won at other locations of the retailer.

XYZ aims to customize the robot's appearance and functionalities to reflect the café's brand elements, including colors and design. The company is not only supplying robot hardware but is also adjusting aspects like ordering methods, menus, and promotional content to fit the operational needs of the stores.

XYZ's robot barista is currently operational in various B2B spaces, such as offices and cultural hubs, and is expanding its application into fashion and beauty retail. Following its success at the beauty outlet, XYZ plans to introduce additional Barisbrew units in two more offline locations later this year. VentureSquare reported the story.
