Webtekno reported that Trendyol and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) collaborated on the Yarının Köyleri (Tomorrow's Villages) project, which focused on rural development through digital training and cultural initiatives during the 2026 summer season. The program provided workshops on branding, digital marketing, and artificial intelligence tools to producers, cooperatives, and businesses across multiple Turkish regions. Children in digital centers also participated in music and environmental awareness activities. A separate initiative, the Dijital Usta (Digital Master) project, supported businesses in earthquake-affected areas through e-commerce training.

The Yarının Köyleri project emphasized transforming rural production into sustainable commercial structures. Training sessions in Izmir, Sakarya, Hatay, and Diyarbakır covered topics like digital branding, product development, and business management. Participants learned to use AI tools for market research, product photography enhancement, and creating digital campaign content. Graduates of the program gained opportunities to showcase their products through Trendyol’s dedicated Yarının Köyleri Butiği (Tomorrow’s Villages Boutique) platform.

Cultural activities included the Müzikli Hikaye Atölyesi (Musical Story Workshop), where children explored classical music through interactive storytelling and instrument demonstrations. Additional educational programs addressed environmental awareness, biodiversity, cultural heritage, and digital rights. The Dijital Usta project, conducted in partnership with TOBB and MÜSİAD, trained over 200 businesses and cooperatives in e-commerce fundamentals, store management, and sales strategies in Adıyaman, Malatya, Kahramanmaraş, and Hatay.

The Yarının Köyleri initiative extended into September 2026, with plans to expand AI-focused training to Adana and Hatay. Webtekno highlighted the program’s dual focus on economic empowerment and cultural enrichment, aligning with Trendyol’s broader social impact goals.
