YourStory Hindi reported that Sunfox Technologies secured 67 crore rupee Series A funding. The round raised seven million dollars, equivalent to 67 crore rupees. The portable ECG platform Spandan developed by the company attracted investors including Ashish Kacholia, Lashit Sanghvi, Alchemy Capital, and 3one4 Capital. This represents the largest funding in Sunfox's history. The company plans to use the capital to expand operations in India and enter global markets. Investment will also support research and development, team growth, and capabilities for international market entry. Founded in 2016 in Uttarakhand as an R&D project, Sunfox emerged after founders lost a friend to a cardiac event. The team sought to use technology for early detection of heart issues.

Over the past decade the company has deployed over 60,000 Spandan devices across more than 20,000 villages. The platform enables frontline health workers to record ECGs, which are then sent to remote doctors for analysis. If serious indicators appear, patients are referred for further treatment. This model is especially valuable in regions with limited specialist access. Sunfox stated that the Spandan One platform screens approximately 50 lakh patients annually. Regulatory approvals are held in Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, and South Africa. The company is pursuing approvals in the United States and European Union. New funding will accelerate Spandan expansion in India and support regulatory, distribution, and commercial infrastructure for key markets including the United States, Europe, and Africa.

Ashish Kacholia expressed happiness investing in a company working to bring better health facilities to ground level. Lashit Sanghvi of Alchemy Capital noted Sunfox has built a strong foundation in cardiac diagnosis and has potential for large-scale expansion from India to global markets. The company plans to strengthen the Spandan portfolio and invest in clinical evidence, engineering, and new cardiac technology. Long-term goals include extending portable ECG reach to homes, professional healthcare, hospitals, and public health systems.
