On October 14, 2026, smart robotics unicorn ZhiYuan announced the initiation of a new funding round, with reports estimating the amount to be between 1 billion CNY and 1.5 billion CNY. This funding round is nearing completion, and the latest valuation of the company is approximately 50 billion CNY.

The report indicated that according to the relevant requirements of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, a company applying for listing must wait 120 days after completing new financing before it can be listed unless a special exemption is obtained. Investors noted that this new round of funding suggests that ZhiYuan will not be able to complete its Initial Public Offering (IPO) within this year.

Founded in 2023, ZhiYuan focuses on embodied intelligence as its core technology direction. On September 24, the company announced the rollout of its 20,000th embodied intelligent robot, setting a new global mass production record.

According to a research report from Counterpoint Research, global humanoid robot shipments surpassed 22,000 units in the first half of 2026, showing a nearly 300% year-on-year growth and maintaining strong momentum. ZhiYuan's AGIBOT leads the global market with a shipment of 9,700 units, capturing over 43% market share, followed by Unitree, Galbot, UBTECH, and Leju Robotics, with the top five manufacturers collectively accounting for 86% of total shipments.
