Sennheiser launches self-replaceable battery headphones in Thailand

Sennheiser introduced three new wireless headphones in Thailand on September 16 2569. The lineup includes MOMENTUM 5 Wireless Over-Ear, MOMENTUM True Wireless 5 In-Ear and ACCENTUM Clip Open-Ear. MOMENTUM 5 Wireless is the first flagship model from the brand that lets users replace the battery themselves. The earbuds can operate up to 57 hours with ANC enabled and feature a smaller case. They use a 42 millimeter driver built in house and support Dolby Atmos and head tracking. Noise cancellation uses eight microphones arranged in a 3+1 array and improves noise reduction threefold. The headphones connect via Bluetooth 6.0 LE Audio and will support Auracast through a future firmware update. MOMENTUM 5 Wireless is available in black white and denim at a suggested price of 17990 baht.

MOMENTUM True Wireless 5 has a redesigned earbud shape that fits more snugly and offers longer wear time. The earbuds and charging case allow user replaceable batteries and provide up to 12 hours of playback per charge with a total of 40 hours using the case. Five colour options are offered including Graphite Copper Cream Denim and Lavender at a suggested price of 15399 baht. ACCENTUM Clip is an open ear design that weighs 6.8 grams per side and features an IP54 rating. It supports Bluetooth 6.0 multipoint and AI noise reduction for calls. Battery life lasts nine hours per charge with up to 36 hours using the case. The product is priced at 8499 baht. Sennheiser notes that the self replaceable battery aligns with right to repair goals but availability of genuine battery parts in Thailand is pending as the company prepares to work with SIS and Gadget.

The company also plans to improve after sales service and launch a local website. AIS and True are promoting iPhone 18 Pro launches with trade in offers and 5G advanced support.
