Lovable acquires Sutro – aims to make AI-built code reliable

Lovable has acquired the tech company Sutro to address the challenge of understanding how software systems operate. The acquisition, announced on Lovable's website, aims to enhance the reliability of applications. Sutro has developed a unique language, a compiler, and a backend platform over the past five years, focusing on clarity regarding application behavior and adherence to established rules.

Lovable emphasizes that software builders should trust that their systems function correctly, while the platform manages the underlying complexities. Following the acquisition, Sutro's founder Tomas Halgas and three engineers will join Lovable, with Halgas taking on the role of technical evangelist to continue making the technology comprehensible for developers.
