Aday raises 2.5 million SEK to streamline recruitment processes
Aday Systems has successfully secured 2,500,000 SEK in a funding round aimed at addressing the fragmented information challenges in the recruitment industry. The company, founded in 2024, is developing a digital platform designed to consolidate various recruitment processes into one cohesive system. The funding comes from Almi Invest, a state-backed venture capital firm, along with Annexstruktur, KICK Capital, and several business angels.
The platform targets recruitment, search, staffing, and consulting firms that engage with external clients. The concept for Aday was inspired by the founder's personal experiences in the sector, highlighting the communication hurdles often faced between recruiters and clients. Aday Systems is currently in its early commercial phase, with ambitions to attract more paying customers and establish a scalable business model.
The investment is not just financial; it also brings valuable expertise, experience, and networks from the new owners, providing a strong foundation for further development. "We have built Aday based on a problem we have faced many times in the recruitment industry. Recruitment is fundamentally a project requiring collaboration and decision-making from multiple people, yet the tools available are rarely designed for that collaboration," said the CEO.
Almi Invest, which focuses on early-stage companies, will also provide board work and strategic support. According to an Investment Manager at Almi Invest, the team's experience was a significant factor in their decision to invest. They noted the impressive combination of customer understanding, technical skills, and execution capability within the team, which includes experienced developers alongside the founder.
