Logitech launches MX Master 4 Developer Edition mouse in India

Logitech has launched a new and special edition of its productivity mouse. The company has introduced the Logitech MX Master 4 Developer Edition in India. This mouse has been designed specifically inspired by software development and coding workflows. It features various visual elements related to coding that set it apart from a standard mouse. However, aside from the design changes, the features remain similar to the standard MX Master 4.

The edition showcases a matte finish with laser-etched detailing. Additionally, execution prompts are present on the mouse. All these elements are connected to the world of software development and programming. The design incorporates references to significant dates for developers, including 0xFF + 1 for World Programmers Day, 09.17 for the Linux Kernel release date, and !04.01 for World Backup Day.

The Logitech MX Master 4 Developer Edition features the company’s MagSpeed Scroll Wheel, allowing users to scroll up to 1,000 lines in one second. Logitech claims this is its fastest, quietest, and most precise scrolling experience to date. The mouse is equipped with an 8,000 DPI sensor, ensuring smooth and accurate tracking. According to the company, compared to the MX Master 3, it provides a tactile feel with 90 percent less noise.

Besides the design, the mouse includes productivity-related features, such as customizable haptic feedback. This feature provides users with tactile feedback during certain supported interactions. The company states that it can assist in navigating large code repositories and switching between different terminal windows. A dedicated button for the Actions Ring allows users quick access to their favorite macros and AI coding assistants.

For connectivity, Logitech has incorporated a high-performance chip and optimized antenna design, claiming it doubles connectivity strength compared to previous models. A USB Type-C dongle is also included, facilitating easy pairing with different devices.

The Logitech MX Master 4 Developer Edition is priced at 20,699 rupees in India. This limited edition mouse has been launched with a unique design and is available for purchase through Amazon.
