Klang secures 15 million SEK funding and seeks new colleagues for a "small team"

Klang has secured 15 million kronor in new funding aimed at further developing its service and expanding internationally. The Swedish startup, which transcribes, summarizes, and analyzes interviews and conversations using artificial intelligence, focuses on keeping information local instead of relying on large cloud services in the United States. The new capital will also support the organization's growth with approximately ten new recruitments.

The company's valuation in this funding round is set at 150 million kronor. The funding comes from existing owners and is led by entrepreneur and investor Johan Lenander, alongside Emil Sjödin, founder of Refined, and Daniel Gadd, co-founder of Position Green. Klang reported a significant increase in its annual recurring revenue (ARR), which more than doubled to 20 million kronor since the previous year. In 2025, the startup recorded revenues of 7.2 million kronor with an operating loss of 6.5 million kronor, compared to 3 million kronor in revenue and a loss of 2.9 million kronor in the previous year.

Klang aims to recruit key personnel in research, development, and marketing, while still emphasizing the importance of maintaining a "small and capital-efficient team." The company is focusing on expanding into the Nordic region, Benelux, the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland), and Japan in the near future.
