Gemini Notebook adds feature to import purchased e-books from Google Play Books

Gemini Notebook, formerly known as NotebookLM, introduced a new feature called Expert Intelligence. This feature allows users to import e-books purchased from Google Play Books into the app. Once imported, the AI can read and analyze these books as a source. Users can then request summaries, ask questions, or generate slides, podcasts, and quizzes based on the content. The feature supports over 100,000 books from well-known publishers and some bestselling authors.

The integration aims to enhance the utility of purchased e-books by making their content directly usable within the AI-powered tool. Users no longer need to manually upload or reference these books separately. The feature is designed to work seamlessly with existing sources in Gemini Notebook, providing a unified experience for content interaction and creation.
