Fractal Workout launches integrated schedule support plan for corporate health management
Fractal Workout has begun providing a new service called the Integrated Schedule Support Plan, which allows companies to verify the schedules for health management initiatives and stress checks on a single annual chart. The company, headquartered in Shibuya, Tokyo, introduced this plan to address the common issue where health management applications and stress check implementations are managed separately by different departments or outsourcing partners. By aligning the timing of policy consideration and reporting, the plan aims to clarify responsibilities for workplace measures following group analysis, while keeping the roles of different stakeholders distinct.
The background for this plan involves the frequent separation of duties in corporate health programs. Companies often handle health management applications and stress checks through different channels, leading to overlapping timelines for next-year policy planning and post-result actions. Managing stress check schedules on separate charts makes it difficult to connect result notifications, group analysis, workplace responses, and future planning. The new plan addresses this by listing both sets of activities on one chart without merging the handling of personal data or the specific roles of the implementers.
Under the stress check system, annual implementation is mandatory for workplaces with fifty or more employees, and this requirement will extend to workplaces with fewer than fifty employees starting April 1, 2028. The implementation is carried out by doctors, public health nurses, or specific trained professionals such as dental doctors, nurses, mental health welfare workers, and certified clinical psychologists. Individual results are notified directly to the employee by the implementer and are not provided to the employer without the employee's consent. Consequently, the annual chart separates the processes involving implementers and occupational physicians from the health management policies decided by the company, ensuring personal results are managed outside the shared chart.
The annual chart includes columns for the month, health management tasks, stress check tasks, company personnel, implementers, the company's representative, internal approval dates, notification dates to targets, completion checks, and next measures. Company personnel review items with approaching deadlines during monthly meetings and coordinate with responsible departments to set alternative dates if delays occur. The chart integrates health management application and review processes with stress check steps, including target confirmation, implementation, result notification, necessary follow-up actions, and group analysis. It also includes months for implementing exercise or health education and months for reporting to management.
When the notification date for individual stress check results overlaps with the date for announcing health management policies internally, the dates are adjusted to prevent employees from receiving multiple notifications at once. Following group analysis, workplace issues are not immediately converted into company-wide exercise measures. Instead, after confirmation by occupational health personnel, the responsible department and content are selected and included in the next quarter's health education or exercise schedule. Post-implementation meetings verify group issues and determine the next month's measures and evaluation dates.
The deliverables include an annual process chart and role distribution table at introduction, monthly progress records during operation, and a list of remaining issues for the next fiscal year at year-end. These documents serve as references for contacting the right people in the right months, even after personnel changes. Fractal Workout offers this plan as part of its BODY PALETTE service, which combines stress check implementation, monthly health monitoring, online exercise, and e-learning. The company also accepts customization consultations for stress check implementation from start to follow-up. The plan is available to companies wishing to review their annual schedules for health management and stress checks, provided they share their current implementation structure and personnel duties.
