Foxconn offers up to 8,800 yuan hiring bonus for iPhone 18 Pro assembly workers
Foxconn is recruiting workers to prepare for the launch of Apple’s upcoming iPhone 18 Pro series and the company’s first foldable iPhone Ultra. New hires may receive a hiring bonus of up to 8,800 yuan. Employees who report after August 14 are also eligible for an additional 500 yuan onboarding subsidy. The bonus is paid in installments based on length of service and attendance, with full payment conditional on meeting in‑house criteria; early departure forfeits the remaining installments. The recruitment covers roles in component testing, assembly, and quality inspection, with earlier starters eligible for extra incentives. Separately, OpenRouter announced on August 19 that it has joined Stripe. OpenRouter stated that its product, brand, existing integrations, and roadmap will remain unchanged, and developers will not need to modify existing connections. The company describes itself as a multi‑model gateway covering more than 400 AI models and processing more than 10 trillion tokens daily. Stripe’s customer network, payments, and anti‑fraud capabilities are expected to help OpenRouter serve developers and enterprises more quickly.
