DMILLION, a South Korean autonomous manufacturing startup, has developed a platform that connects AI-driven manufacturing decisions with physical robot actions, aiming to bridge the gap between scattered factory data and real-world production execution.

The company was founded in 2024 by Han Yohan, who previously conducted research at Sungkyunkwan University. Drawing on extensive experience in smart manufacturing, Han identified a key challenge: while factories collect vast amounts of data across systems, integrating this information for actionable decision-making still relies heavily on experienced personnel.

DMILLION's core offerings include D'ASTRA, a manufacturing execution system (MES) powered by AI agents, and FLEXIBOT, a semi-humanoid AI worker combining autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) with robotic manipulators. D'ASTRA uses Asset Administration Shell (AAS) and ontology technologies to standardize and structure data from disparate systems, enabling AI agents to analyze production schedules, quality control, and equipment status. FLEXIBOT performs physical tasks such as picking, moving, and inspecting components without requiring pre-programmed teaching.

The company emphasizes a field-first approach, working directly with manufacturers to define problems before deploying technology. DMILLION has partnered with LG CNS for proof-of-concept projects and is currently participating in a government-backed AI agent integration program led by South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT and NIPA. The initiative involves 19 AI agents coordinating tasks from order intake to shipment in injection molding facilities.

In addition to D'ASTRA and FLEXIBOT, DMILLION has developed BATON, an integrated battery disassembly and diagnostics system. The company has received multiple awards, including recognition at KES 2025, and holds 14 patents. It plans to expand into Vietnam as its first overseas market, targeting the electronics and automotive parts sectors.
