Credos Partners has secured over 1.5 billion won in a Pre-A funding round to expand its tokenized security infrastructure business. The company is currently conducting a total round of over 2 billion won, with the remaining investment procedures expected to conclude next month. StartupN reported the story.

The investment was led by Kinet Investment Partners, with participation from existing shareholders. Credos Partners, founded in 2022, develops a digital platform that manages the entire lifecycle of financial products, from creation and trading to operation and trust management. The company utilizes tokenized securities as a technology to improve efficiency in these processes, focusing on securing underlying assets and reducing inefficiencies in post-issuance management rather than just the issuance technology itself.

The company is expanding its operations in both domestic and international markets. This year, it signed a contract with a Southeast Asian financial institution to build a supply chain finance platform and is pursuing similar projects with domestic organizations. In Singapore, it is promoting the tokenized sale of foreign currency bond portfolios for high-net-worth individuals, while in Hong Kong, it is preparing a business-to-business tokenized security platform for professional investors through a joint venture. Domestically, the company is engaged in system construction and consulting for tokenized securities.

Yoon Ju-han, an analyst at Kinet Investment Partners, stated that the key competitive advantage in the tokenized security market will be infrastructure capable of handling various underlying assets and regulatory, settlement, and ledger management tasks for financial institutions. He noted that Credos Partners possesses experience in structured and cross-border finance, along with blockchain and AI-based operational management technology. CEO Lee Ha-yan stated that the company has prepared digital and tokenization solutions for private investment since its inception and will use the funding to expand its tokenized security and real-world asset business with bases in South Korea and Hong Kong.
