Xiaopeng G9L five-seat SUV launch event scheduled for September 17 in China

Xiaopeng Motors officially announced today that the launch event for its five-seat SUV, the Xiaopeng G9L, is set for September 17 at 19:00. The vehicle is being promoted as a "new technology flagship."

Pre-sales for the Xiaopeng G9L began on August 11, with two powertrains available: super extended range and pure electric. The expected price is 259,800 CNY. The model features a dual-direction 15° steering system and boasts a minimum turning radius of 5.4 meters, claiming to be as agile as A0 class vehicles.

In terms of appearance, the Xiaopeng G9L comes in several colors including Provence Purple, Tuscany Green, Everest White, Fjord Gray, and Polar Night Black. The dimensions of the vehicle are 5120×1999×1782mm, with an impressive wheelbase of 3100mm and a length-to-height ratio of 0.605. It features industry-first front and rear through lights and is equipped with 480 independent LED light beads, while the rear adopts a coupe-like design to emphasize a youthful aesthetic.

The interior of the Xiaopeng G9L introduces a smart four-motor administrative island, which supports voice, button, and screen activation for a small table that can automatically adjust with the seat back. Additionally, it includes a 50W air-cooled wireless fast charger and dual hidden cup holders, with a table that features a mobile phone holder and a makeup mirror. It also has a ceiling screen that can transform into a private cinema, supporting 220V power supply.

The vehicle offers both super extended range and pure electric versions, with all models featuring an 800V high-voltage fast charging platform. The extended range version comes with all-wheel drive, providing a pure electric range of up to 435 kilometers and a comprehensive range of 1602 kilometers, while the pure electric version can reach a maximum range of 755 kilometers and is available with all-wheel drive.
