Vocca announced a 20 million dollar Series A funding round led by Norrsken, the largest impact-focused early-stage fund in Europe. Heal Capital, Speedinvest and Firstminute Capital also participated, alongside business angels including the founders of Alan and Datadog. These founders had previously invested in September 2025 alongside the founders of Deel, Jellysmack and Mistral. The round values the French startup at a post-money valuation of 20 million dollars. The capital will be used to expand operations in the United States and Europe, accelerate hiring, and develop new features for its medical voice assistant.

Vocca currently serves 15,000 healthcare professionals across 1,500 clinics and about twenty specialties in the United States and Europe, up from 2,000 users a year ago. The platform handles more than one million patient interactions each month and processes 70 percent of conversations end-to-end without human intervention. Founded in July 2024 by Eliott Hoffenberg and Hugo Danet, Vocca offers a voice assistant that manages appointment scheduling, answers patient questions, prepares consultations and automates administrative tasks.

The company says its solution reduces the workload of medical secretaries, who often rely on phone calls despite the existence of platforms like Doctolib. Vocca has opened an office in New York and plans to hire about 40 additional employees in Paris and New York by the end of the year. The funding reflects growing interest in AI tools that streamline healthcare administration amid budget cuts and fragmented software systems.
