Vantora Secures Over $100 Million from Silversmith Capital Partners
Vantora announced on September 16 that it raised more than $100 million from Silversmith Capital Partners. The round marks the first external capital for the company, which was formerly known as UP.Labs. The funding is described as growth investment, and the valuation and total capital raised were not disclosed. Vantora aims to create AI native startups for large enterprises in partnership with Silversmith. The company plans to embed experienced founders and AI engineers within partner firms to identify high impact operational challenges.
Solutions are built as new entities or as specialized technology assets within the partner’s business. Examples include automating product configuration and quotation for make to order manufacturing and redesigning maintenance schedules for airlines. Vantora calls this approach Sovereign AI, allowing partners to own the AI layer of their operations. Partners invest at the formation stage, become the first customers and hold equity. When results appear on the income statement, the business may be spun in to the partner’s core organization.
The company’s foundation is an ontology product named COSMOS. COSMOS integrates scattered operational data and enables AI processes and autonomous agents to use the data. Vantora has launched seventeen ventures and targets twenty companies by the end of 2026.
