The American president has announced the establishment of a new entity called the Super Intelligence Force, aimed at coordinating federal government efforts and enhancing the United States' leadership in the field of artificial intelligence, which he described as potentially surpassing the impact of the industrial revolution and the emergence of the internet.

In a post on his social media platform, he stated that the new force will be responsible for coordinating federal government efforts to ensure that America continues to lead the world in super intelligence, adding that these efforts will contribute to protecting American interests and improving their lives.

The new force will be headed by the Director of National Intelligence, who will essentially take on a role similar to the "AI Czar" previously mentioned by the president. He will be joined by the Chair of the Federal Trade Commission, the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering, and the Director of the Office of Personnel Management as deputy heads.

This initiative follows the president's announcement in September of his intention to form a specialized force in artificial intelligence and appoint a senior official to lead this effort, coinciding with a new direction from the U.S. administration to reshape the discussion around artificial intelligence under the term "super intelligence."

According to a report from a news outlet, the new force has 120 days to prepare a report identifying the risks and opportunities posed by artificial intelligence, focusing on enhancing the United States' ability to compete globally.
