Sendy secures 3 billion KRW in bridge funding for transportation management SaaS
Sendy, a freight transportation platform, has secured a bridge investment of 3 billion KRW in a Series B round from Hyundai Investment Partners and Kolz Dynamics. Hyundai Investment Partners contributed 2 billion KRW, while Kolz Dynamics provided 1 billion KRW. The funding will be used to enhance the features of SendyX, an AI-based transportation management solution that integrates various operational tasks within a single system, from vehicle dispatch to monitoring and settlement.
The digital transformation of the freight transportation market continues to be a challenge, even after connecting shippers and vehicles. Many operational processes still rely on phone calls, messaging apps, and Excel spreadsheets, making it difficult to track real-time transportation statuses or accumulate operational data. Sendy aims to address this by expanding beyond its matching service to provide a comprehensive management solution.
SendyX is designed to streamline the entire transportation process, including registration, real-time location tracking, customer management, proof of delivery, revenue, and settlement management. The platform is set to integrate with existing logistics systems such as TMS, OMS, WMS, and ERP through APIs, facilitating the sharing of transportation requests and costs.
With this new funding, Sendy plans to add a subscription revenue model to its existing commission-based structure, targeting both freight carriers and manufacturing and distribution companies that operate their own logistics. The goal is to reduce repetitive tasks following vehicle dispatch and create an environment where operators can monitor the entire transportation situation from a single screen.
