Neura Robotics acquires Adlatus Robotics in latest expansion move

Neura Robotics, a robotics unicorn based in Metzingen, has acquired Adlatus Robotics, a company founded in 2015 that specializes in autonomous cleaning and sweeping robots for industrial, logistics, healthcare, and commercial settings. The Ulmer-based firm has deployed hundreds of systems and developed its own navigation software, leveraging extensive expertise in real-world cleaning processes. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Neura Robotics, established in 2019 by David Reger, focuses on cognitive robots capable of seeing, hearing, and learning through artificial intelligence. The company has raised up to 1.4 billion US dollars in recent funding rounds, with participation from major corporations such as Amazon, NVIDIA, Qualcomm, and Tether, as well as European investors. Following its latest funding, Neura Robotics achieved a valuation of approximately 7 billion US dollars.

In a separate development, Berlin-based tax technology startup b’steuern and Glindway, a software solutions provider founded in 2022, announced their merger. The four founders of Glindway—Maximilian Steuck, Manuel Müllerschön, David Kaufmann, and Niv Adam—will continue their work under the b’steuern brand. The combined entity aims to build an "AI-first tax advisory firm," combining b’steuern’s digital tax consulting services with Glindway’s tailored AI and software solutions. The startup was founded in 2024 by Christopher Plantener, Stephen Ogden, Florian Gößmann-Schmitt, and Joan Hinterauer.
