Mitsubishi’s new Delica Mini integrates Google services and Mitsubishi Connect for advanced infotainment and remote control

Mitsubishi Motors has introduced the new Delica Mini, a kei car featuring a flagship-level connected services lineup. The vehicle is equipped with a 12.3-inch HD infotainment display that integrates Google Assistant, Google Maps, and Google Play, alongside support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additionally, the Mitsubishi Connect smartphone app enables remote functions such as engine start, air conditioning pre-conditioning, door lock/unlock, and external camera capture. The infotainment system includes a 7-inch driver display and a 12.3-inch main navigation screen, both integrated into a single unit. Upon starting the vehicle, an animated startup graphic featuring the Delica Mini’s headlight icon appears. Voice commands via "OK Google" allow hands-free control of navigation, media playback, and climate settings, with the system supporting third-party apps like Spotify, YouTube Music, and Audible. The Mitsubishi Connect app provides remote access to key vehicle functions. Users can remotely start the engine, activate the air conditioning, lock or unlock doors, and capture images from the car’s cameras. These features are designed to adjust the cabin temperature before entry and allow visual confirmation of the vehicle’s surroundings, particularly useful in extreme weather conditions.
