Li Auto announced that its chip subsidiary Shanghai Mach Xinn Technology Co., Ltd. has signed an agreement for its first round of equity financing, with a total subscription amount of 1.625 billion CNY.

The financing round was led by Hangzhou Jingtai, BlueRun Ventures, and Huaye Tiancheng, with Qiji Chuangtan participating as an investor. Li Auto contributed 1 billion CNY through its wholly-owned subsidiary, while external investors contributed a total of 625 million CNY.

Additionally, Hangzhou Jingtai and its associated funds have been granted a one-time additional subscription right, allowing them to invest up to 500 million CNY at the same price before December 31, 2026. If this subscription right is fully exercised, Mach Xinn Technology's post-investment valuation will reach 17.1 billion CNY. After the financing is completed, Li Auto is expected to hold approximately 74.01% of Mach Xinn Technology's shares, maintaining a controlling position.

Reports indicate that Li Auto began validating the feasibility of self-developed chips in 2021, officially launching the project in 2022 with a dedicated team of around 200 people.

The self-developed Mach M100 chip achieved mass production in May 2026 and is first equipped in the new Li Auto L9 Livis model. This chip utilizes a 5nm automotive-grade process and is based on a dynamic data flow architecture, with a single-chip computing power of 1280 TOPS and equipped with 8-channel LPDDR5X memory, achieving a peak bandwidth of 273GB/s.

According to reports, Li Auto refers to the Mach M100 as "the world's first mass-produced dynamic data flow AI chip," with an actual operating efficiency exceeding 82%. Currently, the Mach M100 has been mass-produced and delivered with the new Li Auto L9 and L8 models, achieving a fully autonomous completion from chip architecture design to vehicle pre-installation delivery.
