KandaQuantum has officially launched Fuga 5000, a new version of its AI swarm orchestrator, aimed at developers. This release enables users to manage up to 5,000 AI agents from a single Mac device, making it one of the largest commercial swarm products available globally. It provides a platform for developers to integrate their existing subscriptions with various AI agents, including Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Grok, and Kimi.

The Fuga 5000 system is designed to autonomously allocate tasks across AI agents, with a reported capability of managing 5,441 agents across 349 tasks in a single day. This functionality is structured in a five-tier system that connects user requests to sub-agents, allowing for efficient task distribution and management. The orchestrator offers real-time monitoring of agent performance and task progress through an integrated Gantt chart.

Developers can utilize Fuga 5000 at a starting fee of $150 for the first month, with ongoing costs only related to the Fuga service itself, as additional agent subscriptions are sold separately. The system leverages real-time benchmarks to optimize task assignments based on the efficiency of different models and their respective capabilities.

Fuga 5000’s development has shown a rapid increase in the number of agents managed, growing from 1,285 in its earlier version to over 5,000 in the latest iteration. The platform aims to streamline workflow by allowing agents to collaborate and communicate effectively while executing complex tasks.

Additionally, Fuga 5000 is equipped with safety features to detect and pause any potentially harmful actions taken by agents, ensuring that human oversight is integrated into the process. This approach allows developers to verify agent activities and make informed decisions about whether to proceed with ongoing tasks.

The launch of Fuga 5000 marks a significant advancement in multi-agent systems, positioning KandaQuantum as a leader in the field. The company aims to further enhance the capabilities of Fuga with continued improvements and updates in response to developer needs. ASCII reported the story.
