Infinix launches Smart 20 HD in India with 120Hz display, 5,000mAh battery and Ultra Link feature
Infinix introduced the Smart 20 HD in India on 7 October 2026, presenting a new variant within the Smart 20 lineup that emphasizes a high‑refresh‑rate screen, large battery capacity and innovative connectivity options. The device is positioned as a budget‑friendly smartphone, offering a 120Hz refresh rate display, a 5,000mAh battery, dual speakers and the proprietary Ultra Link feature, which enables communication without a mobile network.
ABP Live Tech reported the story. The Smart 20 HD is offered at a base price of 10,999 rupees, inclusive of all current offers. The model comes exclusively with 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, though the same configuration is listed on Flipkart at 18,499 rupees. Retail stores also carry the phone, and Infinix provides a six‑month no‑cost EMI option. Color choices include Sunlike Orange, Silver Dancer and Night Pulse.
The handset features a 6.67‑inch HD+ punch‑hole display with a resolution of 720 × 1,600 pixels and support for up to 120 Hz refresh rates. Peak brightness reaches 700 nits in HBM mode. Powering the device is a Unisoc T7250 octa‑core processor, paired with 3 GB of RAM that can be expanded virtually to 6 GB. An additional microSD slot allows storage expansion, and the phone runs on Android 15 with the XOS 15.1 skin.
A 5,000mAh battery supplies the phone, supporting charging speeds up to 15 W. The retail box includes a 10 W charger, and the device carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. The battery is designed to deliver extended usage under typical daily conditions.
Photography is handled by an 8 MP camera on both the rear and front panels. The rear module includes autofocus and a suite of shooting modes such as Super Night, Dual Video, Vlog, Documents, Pro, Panorama and Time‑Lapse, enabling 2K video recording at 30 fps. Audio output is provided by dual speakers that incorporate an Ultra Volume Mode capable of reaching 300 percent volume and DTS audio support.
The Ultra Link feature leverages Bluetooth connectivity to allow calls, messages, voice notes and image sharing over distances up to 200 meters without requiring a mobile network. Standard connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and a USB‑Type‑C port. The phone also integrates three noise‑cancellation modes—Smart NC, Standard NC and Pure Voice technology—to improve call quality in noisy environments.
Overall, the Infinix Smart 20 HD aims to deliver a balanced set of specifications for budget-conscious consumers, combining a high‑refresh‑rate display, robust battery life and unique offline communication capabilities within an affordable price bracket.
