Honor unveils Play20A with 6.9-inch display and rear secondary screen

Honor has launched the Play20A, a smartphone featuring an unusual design that includes a small secondary screen integrated into the rear camera module. According to Unlimit Tech, this marks the first time Honor has included such a feature in its non-foldable phones.

The rear screen supports selfie capture by displaying the main 13-megapixel camera feed, while the front camera offers 5 megapixels. The rear display also shows the time, music playback details, and caller ID during calls. The front display is a 6.9-inch LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, and the side-mounted power button houses a fingerprint sensor.

Under the hood, the Play20A runs on a Helio G81 processor with 4 gigabytes of RAM and storage options of 64 or 128 gigabytes. It supports dual SIM cards and microSD storage up to 1 terabyte. The device is powered by a 6,000 milliampere-hour battery with 15-watt wired charging and is available in three colors. Honor has not yet announced the pricing for the Play20A, which has appeared on the company’s global website and its Qatar site without price details.
