Bridge Smile raises 819 million JPY in Series A funding
Bridge Smile announced on the 28th that it has raised a total of 819 million JPY through a Series A funding round involving a third-party allocation of new shares. This round included participation from entities such as Kanpo NEXT Partners, Mobile Internet Capital, PARTNERS FUND, mint, Gazelle Capital, Mitsubishi UFJ Capital, New Commerce Ventures, Innovation Engine, Aflac Ventures Japan, INNOVATION V Capital, GIV, and DE-SIGN Capital.
The company provides post-sales services, managing tasks such as scheduling installation, arranging skilled workers, quality control, and coordinating schedules with customers through a combination of systems and operations. By integrating with systems from e-commerce sites and physical retail stores, customers can book installation services at the time of purchase.
Bridge Smile covers various sales domains, including electronics, home installation equipment, automotive products, and EV chargers, boasting a network of over 1,900 skilled professionals nationwide.
At the core of its operational framework is an AI allocation engine that automatically assigns tasks based on the skills and current locations of workers. This system is referred to as an "installation industry-specific OS". The company claims that productivity in task allocation operations has improved sixfold compared to traditional manual processes.
The funds will be used for the development of the AI and systems for the installation industry-specific OS, the creation of a "super app" to facilitate immediate payment to workers and support for microloans, and to strengthen organizational and recruitment frameworks. The story was reported by BRIDGE.
