AIONA raises 140 million JPY for AI-driven design agent REVY
AIONA announced on the 24th that it has raised a total of 140 million JPY for its AI agent, REVY, which automates and supports design tasks in the manufacturing industry. The funding consists of the issuance of new stock acquisition rights under the J-KISS scheme through third-party allocation, along with loans from Aichi Bank and Mizuho Bank. The lead investor for the new stock acquisition rights is ON&BOARD, with participation from GxPartners, Crest Skill Partners, and Mizuho Capital.
REVY is designed to automate and support various design tasks, including quality function deployment that translates customer requirements into design specifications, selecting candidates for reusing past designs, conducting Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Design Review Based on Failure Mode (DRBFM), and verifying errors in drawings. The AI agent utilizes technical documents, drawings, and tacit knowledge accumulated in the design field.
The funding will primarily enhance the development system, advancing the functionality and business deployment of REVY. AIONA plans to focus on building a robust system over the next year, expanding the team responsible for product development.
While advancing the introduction of the AI agent to various manufacturing companies, AIONA intends to broaden its support from individual design tasks to the entire design process.
