Amazon officially today announced suppor for Hindi in its Alexa virtual assistant, allowing users to issue voice commands in the fourth most spoken language in the world. The development comes more than a year after Google introduced Hindi support in Google Assistant. Using machine learning and deep learning models, Amazon said it has addressed the contextual and cultural challenges that helps Alexa understand Hindi better and serve relevant responses to voice queries.
